Pacific NorthWest Propagators Invitation
I would like to extend an invitation to the Lynn Valley Garden Club to visit our nursery located just East of Chilliwack. We operate nursery specializing in unique grafted conifers, beech & ginkgo cultivars. We also have over 150 different cultivars of Japanese maples, and carry a line of miniature & dwarf plants marketed under the name of Garden Delights. In total, we have over 1500 different varieties of plants. A lot of these plants are collector plants. Although we are set up as a wholesale nursery, I really encourage garden clubs to come down and browse through and purchase from our extensive collection of plants.
We are located on 10188 Chapman Road in Rosedale. Take exit 129 Annis Road, go North on Annis Road until you come to a T-intersection with Yale Road. Turn right onto Yale. After 200m turn left onto Chapman Road. We are about 1.5km up the road on the right hand side. Please let me know if this would be something you'd be interested in. Regards,

Free Wild Bird Trust Nature Walks
Park and Tilford Friends of the Garden would like to welcome any of your gardening members to join us. We meet in the office at the Park and Tilford Gardens, Brooksbank Avenue, North Vancouver (in the Park and Tilford Shopping Centre) every Thursday from 9am – 12 noon with a mid-morning coffee break. We have fun and, at the same time, learn about plants and garden maintenance from the qualified garden staff. Our jobs are many and varied - we do everything from potting up baskets, to pruning roses, to taking cuttings, to weeding and more. Our big focus is the Spring Plant Sale at the end of April where we learn all about the plants that we will be selling.
Do come and join us - the time commitment is flexible. Come by any Thursday morning to find out more about this volunteer opportunity. The office is at the entrance across from ‘Rona’ on Gladstone Avenue and is open at 9 a.m. on Thursdays.
